Hey, I’m Harshitha and I’ll be leading Eduvid’s Psychology Program in 2026.

Psychology is a unique challenge, but it’s one I’ve not only faced myself but also helped countless students conquer. As someone who achieved a top study score, I understand the pressure, uncertainty, and determination that come with preparing for this test.

That’s why I’ve made it my mission…

to break down the subject into manageable, achievable steps for every student I work with. At Eduvid, we don’t just teach the exam—we teach you how to approach it with confidence and strategy.

I know what works because I’ve been there, and I bring that experience into every lesson.

My approach focuses on tailoring strategies to each student’s strengths and needs, whether it’s

  • mastering the nervous system

  • improving time management or

  • building resilience under pressure.

Seeing my students grow, develop, and achieve their goals is the most rewarding part of this journey.

Have a look at our unbelievably high scores in 2023, 2024 & 2025

We Statiscally Analysed our results to see just how much of an advantage our students have

9% of VCE students scored above a 40 Study Score

70% of Eduvid students scored above a 40 Study Score

If you prepare like the average VCE student, using the same resources and same techniques, you score average.

Eduvid students scored significantly higher ( almost 11 study scores ) than the median.

Our students were 6 x more likely to score above 40 percentile and 10 x more likely to score above 45

What do these Statistics mean?

Eduvid’s Median study score was higher than the average ( by over 11 study score points)

Eduvid had a lower Variance, concentrated towards a 40 study score

Where determined students become high acheivers.

This is our Drive at Eduvid.

Take a look at the results, offers and testimonials — they’re not just words and numbers.

They’re now the lives of students whose lives we have transformed.

But it all started exactly where you are. Unsure, not knowing who to trust.

They made a choice — to take their preparation seriously,
to trust the process, and to join Eduvid’s Psychology Program.

Fast forward a few months, and they’re now walking the halls of top universities across Australia.

The same could be true for you.
All it takes is that first step — and we’ll be there to help you make it count.

For what we’re providing, you'd expect a private tutor to charge $60 an hour + $60 for content creation.

That’s over $250 a week.

However, Eduvid started out of a gap of providing equitable tutoring and providing opportunity.

So instead of $60 an hour, our rate is $20 an hour

AUD $90 Per Week for Unit 3&4

AUD $80 Per Week for Unit 1&2

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our classes are online - only. This is purely for accessibility. Your time in Year 12 is important. Spending an hour to and an hour from tutoring is not a good use of that time. That’s why we operate online, allowing for students to access classes and teaching, wherever they are.

How many hours do you teach per week?

We teach four hours per week for every subject. Each week is divided into two components:

    • 2-hour Content Class – where students learn the theory, foundations, and key concepts for the week.

    • 2-hour Consolidation Class – where students apply what they have learned through recap questions, exam-style problems, and guided practice.

This structure ensures students don’t just learn content passively—they actively use it, reinforce it, and build long-term mastery. Over the past four years, we have found that this combined content-and-application model is significantly more effective than traditional lecture-style tutoring or pre-recorded “YouTube-style” lessons. Our approach mirrors the demands of real VCE exams and gives students the skills, confidence, and repetition needed to perform at their best.

  • Eduvid’s Content Class is the first two-hour session of your weekly program and is held on a weekday after school. This class focuses on teaching the core theory and foundational concepts of the topic being studied. Students learn the essential content, key formulas, worked examples, and explanations that form the basis of their understanding—similar to traditional school teaching or a structured lecture, but delivered in a clearer, more exam-focused format.

Content Classes are taught using Eduvid’s custom-designed workbooks, which are partially filled. This intentional design requires students to engage actively, listen carefully, and complete the missing components throughout the lesson. The goal is to ensure students build their own high-quality notes while staying focused and involved. Any practice, problem-solving, and deeper application of these concepts occurs in the Consolidation Class later in the week, where students have the opportunity to reinforce, clarify, and refine what they learned in Content Class.

  • A Consolidation Class is the second two-hour session of the week and is typically held on the weekend. This class is dedicated entirely to practice, application, and reinforcement of the material covered in the Content Class earlier in the week. Students work through a wide range of VCAA-style, SAC-style, and exam-style questions that mirror the types of problems they will encounter in real assessments.

During this session, tutors guide students step-by-step through challenging questions, demonstrate problem-solving techniques, and provide targeted feedback. Consolidation Classes are built around the proven learning principle of Active Recall, helping students strengthen memory, improve accuracy, and build confidence. These additional two hours also give students ample time to clarify concepts, ask questions, and address any difficulties they encountered during the week—ensuring they fully understand and can apply every concept taught.

  • Eduvid supplies a comprehensive suite of resources designed to support students from their very first lesson through to final exams. Each week, students receive structured teaching booklets for both content and consolidation classes. These booklets are intentionally not pre-filled; they contain guided gaps and space for worked examples, ensuring students remain attentive, actively engage with the lesson, and develop meaningful, personalised notes. Every booklet also includes exam-style, SAC-style, and VCAA-aligned questions so students begin developing exam readiness from day one.

In addition to weekly materials, students receive extensive revision resources during the exam preparation period, including practice exams with fully annotated solutions. We also offer supplementary materials such as summary notes, wall posters, formula sheets, and flashcards to reinforce key concepts and support spaced revision. Together, these resources create a complete, structured, and exam-focused learning ecosystem that helps students stay ahead and perform at their best.

  • At Eduvid, maintaining high engagement in online lessons is a core priority. All students are required to have their cameras on throughout the session, allowing tutors to monitor focus, ensure active participation, and quickly identify when a student may be distracted. This visibility helps create an accountable and interactive learning environment.

Our tutors also use continuous check-ins during worked examples and problem-solving segments. Students are regularly called upon to explain their reasoning, answer questions, and demonstrate their progress, ensuring they remain attentive and involved. This real-time interaction allows tutors to quickly identify misunderstandings, revisit concepts when needed, and target individual weaknesses. Through structured participation, active questioning, and personalised feedback, Eduvid ensures every student remains engaged, supported, and consistently on track throughout the lesson.

  • Our classes are capped at 8. However, majority of our classes are filling, so you expect 4 - 8 students per class. We have found that this provides the perfect environment for collaborative and personalised learning. In this way, we can provide a supportive and competitive environment in which the tutor still knows each students’ individual needs.

  • If a student misses a class, they will still have full access to the complete lesson recording, along with all associated resources, through the Eduvid LMS portal. Each student receives their own LMS account, where recordings, teaching booklets, worksheets, and revision materials are uploaded weekly. These resources can be accessed at any time and remain available until the end of the academic year, ensuring students can catch up thoroughly and stay on track for their exams.

  • At Eduvid, we believe consistent learning and momentum are essential for long-term academic success. To support this, we continue tutoring throughout all school term holidays so students can maintain progress, reinforce key concepts, and stay ahead of their coursework. Academic growth does not pause during holidays, and neither do we.

The only break we take each year is a short two-week period over the Christmas–New Year season, from 22 December to 4 January. Aside from this end-of-year reset, all programs run continuously. This ensures students remain disciplined, engaged, and fully prepared for the demands of VCE throughout the entire academic year.

  • The choice between private and group tutoring depends on the individual student, but key differences often make group tutoring the more effective and structured option. Private tutoring generally offers one hour of contact per week and relies heavily on the approach, consistency, and resource quality of a single tutor. Lessons can vary in structure and depth, and without a formal curriculum, the learning experience may differ week to week.

Group tutoring programs, particularly at Eduvid, provide significantly more value through up to four hours of structured contact each week. This allows students to learn content thoroughly, apply knowledge through exam-style practice, and benefit from a curriculum developed by an academic team rather than one individual. With greater contact time, consistent resources, and stronger long-term value, group tutoring delivers a richer and more accessible learning experience for most students, while private tutoring remains ideal for those needing highly personalised or accelerated support.

  • Our tutors are subject experts, having scored in the top 1% in their respective subjects. Amongst our tight-knit team, we have multiple Premier’s Awards, Top All Rounders, Chancellor’s Scholarships, 99.95s, School and Subject DUXes and medical students. You can find more about our high achieving team on our Coaches Page

But being a good student doesn’t mean being a good teacher. Our teachers are trained to deliver excellence, being taught and mentored by experienced teachers who have worked years in the education industry. The mentality and psychology of teaching that we bring to class and foster in our students is what separates our teachers and allows them to give you an advantage.

  • Unlike the majority of our competitors, Eduvid is unique because we mentor our tutors. From the selection process through to teaching their classes, they are supported with their own teaching. They are nurtured and brought up to develop the best content and an extremely engaging teaching style that makes content stick

  • Yes — we offer a free trial week for all new students. During this week, students are invited to join our live classes, experience the teaching style, and see how our programs operate. They receive access to class resources, regular class emails, and may attend either the Content or Consolidation class depending on their level.

The purpose of the free trial is simple: to ensure Eduvid is the right fit for the student, and that the student feels comfortable and confident in our learning environment before committing. This trial gives families a clear understanding of the structure, quality, and support we provide.

  • Enrolling with Eduvid is simple and flexible. You can begin by clicking the “Book Free Trial” button, contacting one of our expert consultants for guidance, or completing the enrolment form provided below. Once we receive your details, our team will match you with the most suitable class and ensure you are set up with everything you need to get started.

  • At Eduvid, we track student progress continuously and systematically to ensure every learner receives the support they need. Each month, tutors complete a structured evaluation covering key areas such as engagement, attentiveness, attendance, conceptual understanding, and overall academic performance. This helps us identify trends early and tailor our teaching approach to each student’s needs.

We also conduct dedicated check-ins after every SAC to review results, reflect on strengths and weaknesses, and create a targeted plan for improvement in the next assessment. Parents are kept informed throughout the year, and we offer optional parent–teacher meetings at any time for more detailed updates or discussions. This combination of ongoing monitoring, SAC-based reflection, and open communication ensures that every student remains on track and continuously progresses.

  • Improvement varies significantly between students and depends on several factors, including consistency, effort, and personal study habits. Tutoring is designed to support and accelerate a student’s own learning journey—not replace it. Even with highly experienced tutors, meaningful progress requires active participation, engagement in class, and regular revision outside of lessons.

Many students begin noticing improvements within a few weeks, while others may take a month or longer as they consolidate foundational skills. In some cases, results may be limited if a student is not consistently applying themselves. Ultimately, tutoring is most effective when paired with commitment, curiosity, and a willingness to grow. Our goal is to provide the structure, guidance, and support needed to help every student improve at the pace that best suits their individual learning pathway.

  • Our pricing structure has been designed with accessibility and equity at its core. As a tutoring program founded by medical students from middle-class backgrounds, we deeply understand the importance of education and believe that every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their goals—regardless of financial circumstances. This commitment to fairness is why our programs originally began at just $20 per hour and continue to remain highly affordable compared to industry standards.

Our Year 11 (Units 1 & 2) programs are priced at $80 per week, providing four hours of structured teaching.
Our Year 12 (Units 3 & 4) programs are priced at $90 per week, also including four hours of weekly instruction with full access to resources, recordings, and support.

If your family is experiencing financial difficulty or faces any barriers to accessing tutoring, please reach out to us. We are always willing to discuss temporary discounts or support options to ensure students do not miss out on the learning opportunities they deserve.

  • No — there are absolutely no hidden fees at Eduvid. Your weekly fee of $80 or $90 covers everything, including all teaching hours, full access to the Eduvid LMS portal, weekly resources, lesson recordings, free student consultations, parent–teacher meetings, workshops, and all additional learning materials. In fact, most families find that we include more resources than they expected, not unexpected charges.

The only possible extra cost is a small payment processing surcharge (typically 1–2%) if you choose to pay by credit card. Aside from this, all services, support, and resources are fully included in your weekly fee.

  • We bill students on a monthly cycle, which operates as a five-week billing period. This structure keeps payments simple, predictable, and easy for families to manage. There are no lock-in contracts, and you are free to pause or discontinue at any time with notice.

  • Our classes are designed to be friendly, supportive, and engaging, making them a comfortable space for students of all personalities—including those who are shy or lacking confidence. Eduvid tutors take the time to break the ice, build rapport, and encourage participation in a gentle and constructive way. By checking in regularly, understanding each student’s strengths and weaknesses, and providing positive reinforcement, we help students feel seen, supported, and safe to ask questions.

Many of our strongest performers started out quiet or uncertain. With encouragement and a welcoming classroom culture, students quickly gain confidence, participate more actively, and improve their results. Tutoring at Eduvid is the opposite of the traditional “boring” classroom environment—our lessons are energising, interactive, and designed to make learning enjoyable. Every student deserves to feel confident in their abilities, and we’re here to help them get there.

  • Even high-performing students benefit greatly from structured tutoring. Doing well is one thing, but performing in the top 1% of the state or achieving a perfect ATAR requires consistent refinement, strong exam technique, and guidance from people who have already reached those levels. If a student is already achieving exceptional marks with complete confidence in every SAC and assessment, tutoring may not be essential. However, very few students—no matter how capable—feel 100% certain about maintaining top-tier results throughout the year.

Eduvid Tutoring provides high-achievers with an edge: access to experienced medical students, Premier’s Award recipients, Chancellor’s Scholars, and top scorers who understand exactly what is required to excel at the highest level. Being surrounded by high-performing peers and mentors elevates mindset, discipline, and performance. If a student has strong potential, tutoring ensures no weaknesses are overlooked and no opportunities are missed. It’s about maximising results, not just maintaining them—so high achievers can reach the absolute peak of their capabilities.

  • You can never be “too far behind” to start. Eduvid’s programs are designed to support students at every stage—whether they are building foundational understanding or aiming for top-tier results. Our tutors specialise in taking students from the basics all the way through to exam-level mastery, regardless of when they join during the year.

Even if you enrol mid-year, it is absolutely possible to catch up through our LMS portal, which provides access to past lesson recordings, weekly booklets, and structured revision materials. Students are placed into classes that best match their current level so they can progress at a comfortable but accelerated pace. Tutoring is accessible to learners from all academic backgrounds, and with the right support, every student can improve, rebuild confidence, and work toward strong exam outcomes.

  • Tutoring serves as a powerful support system during the most important academic years of a student’s life. For many students, it enhances their existing potential, sharpens their performance, and provides the accountability needed to stay consistently on top of content. This is especially valuable for students aiming for high study scores, competitive university courses, or accelerated academic growth.

Tutoring is “worth the hype” because it unlocks opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach. With structured guidance, expert teaching, and ongoing support, students gain confidence, improve results, and position themselves for success beyond secondary school. At Eduvid, we have helped hundreds of students secure entry into their dream university programs—many of whom have said it would not have been possible without structured academic support. For students who are committed to maximising their potential, tutoring offers long-term benefits that can shape the course of their educational future.

  • No — we do not offer results guarantees. In the tutoring industry, “guarantees” are often used as marketing tactics that create unrealistic expectations. They typically rely on fine print or conditions that allow companies to avoid honouring the promise, which can mislead families. We believe this approach is unethical and does not reflect the genuine effort required for academic success.

Instead of making empty guarantees, we focus on delivering consistently outstanding results through structured programs, high-quality teaching, and strong student support. Our students’ achievements speak for themselves: our median scores sit well above state averages, and hundreds of Eduvid students have attained exceptional study scores and entry into highly competitive university courses. These outcomes are the result of students’ dedication combined with the guidance, resources, and structured support we provide. We prefer honesty, transparency, and real results over marketing shortcuts.

  • Your ATAR depends on many factors, including your study habits, consistency, assessment performance, subject choices, and the effort you put in throughout Year 12. Tutoring can significantly enhance your understanding, confidence, and exam technique, but your final ATAR ultimately reflects your own commitment and work over the year.

If you would like an estimate based on your current or predicted study scores, you can use the Eduvid ATAR Calculator linked below. This tool allows you to input expected or target study scores to generate an approximate ATAR and help you set clear academic goals.

  • Your UCAT score is influenced by many factors, including your preparation strategy, consistency, problem-solving skills, test-day performance, and the effort you put into mastering each section. While tutoring can greatly improve your technique, speed, and accuracy, your final score ultimately depends on your personal commitment to practice.

If you would like an estimate or target benchmark, you can use the Eduvid UCAT Calculator linked below. By entering your predicted or current practice test scores, you can generate an approximate UCAT score and better understand where you stand and what areas need improvement.

  • Your chances of entering medicine depend on several key factors, including your Year 12 performance, UCAT score, interview performance (where applicable), and the specific entry requirements of each medical school. Because every university weighs these components differently, no single number can guarantee admission.

To help you understand your competitiveness, you can use the Eduvid Medicine Entry Calculator, which allows you to input your predicted or current ATAR, UCAT score, and university preferences. This tool provides an estimated likelihood of receiving an offer and can guide you in setting realistic goals for both your academic performance and UCAT preparation.
